Dedicated to all my JUNIORS………

You stepped in College like we once did,
Vulnerable, Scared, Sweet little kids.

When we met you, you were all alike,
Girls with their ribbons and guys with their spikes.

The first thing we did was to tone you down a little,
Furors down, Oldies up i.e. to tame to somewhat middle.

You guys got in so well that you left us aghast and amazed,
Talents manifolds, Spirits high, Bindaas attitude of yours have you still brazed.

The little genius maniacs in you disturbed the whole of the college,
You brought in ‘COMPUTO GENESIS’ and you dropped it on us to acknowledge.

Well technology is not all that you excel in,
Vocals, Dance, Sports and what not are fields where you outdo and win.

Hence we, your seniors seize the opportunity to raise our hands and acclaim,
We could not have received any better juniors than you all to claim.

Addiction

The scene begins wid an old lady who is lying on her death bed n is asking the god of death to go back because she wants to live, she is addicted to life n living.

On her death bed old mrs Iyer laid,
Beside her stood the Yamdoot who was paid,
To bring the lady along with him today,
Her time was over and nomore she could stay.

She pleaded n said,
“ My lord I am addicted to living here,
Now I can't start again anywhere,
So go n tell yer lord about this,
I want to live to this place, I am addicted.”

The servant answered,
“My dear lady when you were born,
Your mother had nothing to eat, her clotehs were torn,
Your father was a rough he never sent you to school,
And you still want to live here,Why are you acting like a fool!! "

The lady smiled n said,
“ I never went to school, but this does not mean that I remained a fool,
I heard the teacher frm outside the class n learned a lot like the other lass.”

The servant said,
“When you were thirteen,
Your father married you to man whose jobs were not clean,
He harresed you n killed your child and made your son tame n wild.”

The lay answered wisely,

From this I learned a lesson.
I took my son and went to work in a mansion,
I was paid which made me self dependent,
Now I knew the meaning of being independent,
No more asking for money from others,
Working day n night to buy all pleasures.”

The servant said,

When your son grew up, he and his wife threw you out,
You were helpless n wanted to shout.
But instead you went in an old age home,

Where u had nothing neither cup nor comb.”

The lady replied,

It seems dear son that you don't have friends,
God must help you and someone for you must be send,
The life in old age home was fun,
I learned how to remain happy when all is lost even your only son,
People here are old but loving,
Its all together a different world full of sharing n caring.”

The servant replied,

Mam I can’t argue,
Your time is up and you must say adieu.
If u don't come along I’ll get into trouble,
God will either punish me or make my work double.”

The lady said,

If this is the case then I’ll come along,
Let me have a last lookk it wont take long.”

The lady stood up n suddenly something very unusual happened. God appeared before them the servant was shocked he bowed n paid him respect, the lady too did the same.

God said,

No dear lady u r makin me feel low, I troubled u throughout but u still want your life to go,
I am feeling sorry and want to correct my mistake

I am making your life longer n I am doing this just for your sake,
I want you to spread the message of positive attitude,
Because people today think that their sufferings r bigger than their happiness in magnitude,
My dear lady go and preach this message,
Because I don't want my people to cry but to fight with full courage.”

On your 25th....

During welcoming of autumn n biddin bye to rains,
People completed there graduations n in the LU (Lucknow University) they drained.

Novices entered this is college to become maestros of ‘ECONOMICS’,
New relations started budding and strangers became cronies.

It was then that a handsome guy found his love in a pretty dame,
Since then although they have seen many ups n downs but their love has remained the same.

A man of wisdom and a lady of values finally united on 11th of November 1984,
Though it was a love marriage but blessings from both the sides poured.

After marriage they realized that life is not all fun,
They realized their duties that awaited them in the long run.

They did the duties summoned to them and angst for the others around,
It wasn’t a pie but they made things run efficiently and made everyone astound.

You are such an inspiration because of the loving things you do,
And your marriage enriches not only you but those of us who love you too.

In 25 yrs together you’ve shared so many things, thats why this very special anniversary brings to u,
A wish, that love, laughter, joy, contentment 2 will be urs to share throughout and all your wishes come true.

On your 50th...
Though the words are all mine but the thoughts are all my mother's.
MOM SAYS:

God thought of sending me to earth that had me all blue,
I wasn't happy with this decision and why was he sending me i had no clue.

He confined in me the confidence that two angels awaited me,
I wasn't sure but that had me all excited ,i came down all glee.

The next day i found a man and a lady adoring me and cherishing my arrival,
I met two girls who were sent like me,they greeted me with all the honours.

For some i was their daughter and to some i was their sister, I was all messed and confused,
But i loved all that was happening and enjoyed the pampering that had no truce.

I was amazed because my babbling made sense to you and my irritating you made you laugh,
The love given to me was infinite and i did not want my childhood to last.

You taught me all the essential things and grew me into a lady,
My knowledge was not just concerned till the basics but i also had access to the archady.

Although we dont live together now but the memories and times we shared were priceless,
Its all embedded and when i think of them all the other things cease.

Our love continues through all thick and thin, warm and bright. May your marriage shine throughout the years.
You are an example for rest of us so here is to you: THREE CHEERS!!
